DreamWorks Animation scored another huge hit this year with the super fun Monsters vs. Aliens movie. The blockbuster hit is now out on DVD and Bluray and we have a very cool 2-DVD set of Monsters vs. Aliens to giveaway to two lucky readers! Monsters vs. Aliens is a hilarious animated action film starring Reese Witherspoon as Susan Murphy, who is unexpectedly clobbered by a meteor full of outer space gunk and then mysteriously grows to 49-feet-11-inches tall – instantly being labeled a “Monster” named Ginormica. The military jumps into action, and she is captured by General W.R. Monger (Kiefer Sutherland) and held in a secret government compound filled with other “monsters” like herself. (Seth Rogen); and the 350-foot grub called Insectosaurus.  Their confinement time is cut short however, when a mysterious alien robot lands on Earth and the motley crew of Monsters is called into action to save the world from imminent destruction.

Aliens – I have always felt I’m an alien in this crazy world, so that’s who I identify most with 🙂

I haven’t seen the movie yet, but I do like the blue blob that is on the commercials. I don’t know whether he would be considered a monster or an alien though.
