DreamWorks Animation scored another huge hit this year with the super fun Monsters vs. Aliens movie. The blockbuster hit is now out on DVD and Bluray and we have a very cool 2-DVD set of Monsters vs. Aliens to giveaway to two lucky readers! Monsters vs. Aliens is a hilarious animated action film starring Reese Witherspoon as Susan Murphy, who is unexpectedly clobbered by a meteor full of outer space gunk and then mysteriously grows to 49-feet-11-inches tall – instantly being labeled a “Monster” named Ginormica. The military jumps into action, and she is captured by General W.R. Monger (Kiefer Sutherland) and held in a secret government compound filled with other “monsters” like herself. (Seth Rogen); and the 350-foot grub called Insectosaurus.  Their confinement time is cut short however, when a mysterious alien robot lands on Earth and the motley crew of Monsters is called into action to save the world from imminent destruction.

MONSTERS, of course! I took my granddaughter to see this adorable film, and she immediately identified with Susan. What an excellent role model for a little girl! I’d love to own this video so we can watch it over and over again. Go Susan!

Who could root for the aliens? It’s gotta be Ginormica, the cockroach scientist, BOB and the missing link accompanied by the insectosaurus.

Much as I like the Aliens – thanks to my Sci-Fi loving son. I have to go with the Monsters because that is what my granddaughter likes.

We haven’t seen this, but we’re rooting for the monsters – there’s no such thing as aliens! 😀
